Amish People Tradition #weird

Last week on Monday, in my English class, Mr. Luke taught me and my friends about Amish people (picture bellow) and they're kinda weird as a matter of fact.
They are never allowed to have electricity or gadgets in their house, which is so-so weird, Amish men mustn't have buttons on their shirts & zippers, buttons or belts on their trousers, Amish aren't allowed to cut their hair (you mean like Rapunzel?! Are you kidding me?!) so it has to grow longer and longer and etc.
Oh, and if they travel or ride, they have to use a horse or cows or such other things.
Amish people are very simple, they love to be around nature and never drinks alcohol or do something really bad. They are very religious.
Amish parents don't bring their children to High School or College, because they don't trust higher levels of studying. ‪#‎weird‬

But one day, when the Amish teens are already at the age of 17-18, they are allowed to go and see the modern world for a month, that day is called Rumspringer.
They can do all crazy things, like drink alcohol, stripping, and all those bad things that I wouldn't do, of course.
Then, when they go back to their community, they have to choose between the Amish world or the Modern world.
One family of Amish teens chose to live in the Modern world but one.

Under A Mistletoe (Lyra x Red x Leaf)

Lyra and Leaf were best friends but they both liked the same boy; Red. Red was the closest boy friend among other boys... The three often bake together when Thanksgiving, play with dirt at the back of the yard, or sometimes buy loads of candies by the Candy Store. They all became closer and closer until, Red developed a crush on Leaf. 

Since then, Lyra had been jealous about Leaf and tried to make her look bad in front of Red. But, unfortunately, it didn't work. 

It was December, and school was almost finished. Leaf, Lyra, Red and one of Red's friend, Brendan were walking down the hallways which were decorated with Mistletoes. The four didn't know that because the Misletoes were hanging up high on the ceiling. Suddenly, when Lyra, Leaf and Red were walking side by side, students around them gasped including Brendan. 

The three stared at them in confusion. What on earth??? 

"What?" Lyra, Leaf and Red asked in unison. 

Brendan pointed his finger up to the ceiling, and they looked up to where he's pointing. 

A Mistletoe.... That's why... 

Lyra crossed her fingers in hope that Red would kiss her, meanwhile Leaf was just blushing madly, not doing anything or hope for anything. 

"So, Red, who are you gonna pick?" Brendan asked, preparing his camera to take a photo of his best friend kissing one of the girls. 

"Uh..." Red stuttered, looking at Leaf then Lyra, Leaf then Lyra and it went like forever. Lyra clasped her hand with Red's left hand while Leaf smiled at the boy. He liked both of them actually, so, he didn't know who to choose. 

He leaned forward and picked.....................................

Hahaha... The choice is all yours, Reader. ;) Lyra or Leaf? Well, I choose Leaf. You can imagine what happens next. 

Anyway, sorry for the short One-Shot. I'll make another one and try to make it longer... I'm having a holiday with my family, so, I'll have to spend time with them. :)

Author's Rant: Ugh, overused fandoms are so lame...

So, yeah, there'll be some Author's Rant in some entries... Hope you don't mind AND agree with all my ranting, LOL. 

Anyway, do you know overused fandoms? Well, they're kinda like Jelsa, Hiccstrid, Kristanna, Eugenzel and other canon ships. For me, they're kinda lame, no offense. I still ship Jelsa and Eugenzel though but not as much as usual. Usually I ship them like 100%, and now I feel like I'm into 54% or 43%? Idk (I don't know). 

But well, what makes me so annoyed with canon ships is that canon shippers always write the same plot of every story. Example, for Jelsa:

Writers make Rapunzel as Jack's first girlfriend who acts like a mean girl and who hates Elsa for no exact reason. Then, Elsa falls in love with Jack and Jack falls in love with Elsa, so he breaks up with Rapunzel. Elsa and Jack then becomes boyfriend & girlfriend. Rapunzel becomes heart broken & all that cheesy stuff that ex-girlfriends do, until she meets Eugene. They fall in love and also becomes boyfriend & girlfriend. Then they live happily ever after. THE END. 

Ugh, lame right? I hope you agree with me that all Jelsa stories ends up like this. Why does Rapunzel has to be the bad guy? She's a protagonist.

Plus, even Jackunzel's story plot is the opposite of the Jelsa one. So, it's like the same... 

Can't we just imagine of strange new ships like Hiccanna, Janna or Tadapunzel? It's funner than have to make the same plots over and over again. How about Hirogo, Gogozilla and Tadahoney? They're ships made out of imagination too, cuz in the movie, neither of them have love interests, am I right?

Let go of your overused-fandom and try something new, but if it doesn't fit you, you can go back to your first fandom... Let It Go~~!! :P 

I hope this rant isn't offensive. If it is for you, then, I'm sorry.
