"Alright everyone! Let's get together into a group of three, don't be
lost now, because we're entering the forest!" A lady in pink said out
loud using a wireless mike. Young Honey Lemon or Aiko Miyazaki, her real
name, searched around her for 2 friends to become a group with. She
called her little sister, Rio Miyazaki to come and join her group. Time
was running up and other students already found their team mates.
Then,
a Honda C-RV car pulled up next to the school bus, the back door opened
to reveal a boy in a grey cardigan, Levi jeans, and a pair Converses.
The boy ran up to Mr. Tuck, the teacher, and apologized.
"I'm sorry I'm late, Mr. Tuck." He apologized as he looked down, facing the thick green grass.
"It's okay, Tadashi. Just remind yourself not to be late again..." Mr. Tuck forgave him easily.
"Okay, Sir." The boy, Tadashi, replied with a relieved smile.
"Now, how about you pair up with Aiko and Rio, there?" The old teacher added, pointing to the Miyazaki sisters.
"Okay!" Tadashi beamed in delight, smiling shyly at the two girls.
Tadashi
ran towards Aiko and Rio before greeting them shyly. "Uh, hi..." He
clasped his hands tightly behind his back and whirled his body back
& forth. "...I'm Tadashi Hamada. Nice to, um, meet you..."
"Hi,
Tadashi! I'm Aiko and this is my sister, Rio!" Aiko greeted him back,
bubbly. The girl stared at her little sister who was staring at Tadashi
blankly but with a slight hint of pink on her cheeks. Aiko just rolled
her eyes at Rio's weird attitude to their new friend. Maybe she likes him... Aiko smirked across her face as the idea went through her mind.
All
of the students, including Aiko, Tadashi & Rio, followed a scout
leader up to rock-made stairs which led up to a Watch Tower. It had an
amazing view from above. The two 10-years-old kids & 8-years-old kid
started a race that whoever wins, will get a box of  Chocolate Fit
Bars, which were their favorite surprisingly.
"Race you
up there, Dashi!" Rio called out to Tadashi in a nickname she made just
then. Dashi and Rio quickly raced up the stairs, but after a few more
steps, their pace became slow. They, of course, became really exhausted.
Aiko knew this was the chance to beat them, so, she quickened her pace
and finally caught up to the Tower & won. Yay!
"YES!
I WON!" Aiko did a victory dance before climbing the Tower's wooden
ladders. They were pretty slippery, so she kind of slipped a few times
before getting the hang of it. Once she reached to the top, Aiko raised
up her fists in victory. The air blew so hard that it almost tingled
Aiko's skin when it touched.
"Great job, sis." Rio said after she caught up with her sister.
"Thanks."
Aiko saw Tadashi struggling to keep his feet right on the slippery steps, but failed every time. Hahaha... Aiko
laughed internally so that Dashi wouldn't hear her laughing. If so, he
would think that she's bragging him. "You need some help there,
Tadashi?" Aiko offered a hand.
"No, it's fine. I'm
fine." Tadashi denied the offer and kept struggling. The blonde girl
snorted out a quiet laugh. 3 minutes later, the sisters became bored of
waiting for Tadashi to come up, Rio then, decided to give him a helping
hand which he took easily than Aiko's offer.
Aiko
started to get jealous about her sister getting closer to him. Somehow,
she felt that she had a small crush on him, even though they just met a
few hours ago. At first, she didn't notice it, but now, yes. The girl
tried to shake the feeling off before it gets any worse.
"Ah, thanks, Rio." Tadashi thanked Rio with a hug. Okay, now the feeling is really getting worse.
"Wow..." The three said in unison as they gazed off the amazing view. "...It's so beautiful."
"Just
like you..." Tadashi added to Rio, smiling sweetly at her. In reply,
Aiko's adorable sister blushed and thanked him for the compliment that
she ever had in her whole life.
"Hey, how about we go to that nearby well?" Rio asked, pointing towards a big wide well nearby.
"Sure!"
Tadashi entwined his hand together with Rio's hand as they both climbed
down together and went off to the well. From above, Aiko could see
Tadashi doing sweet stuffs to Rio while her sister returned the sweet
affection to him.
Aiko clenched her fists until it
turned almost white before climbing down the ladders angrily. Once she
got down, she shoved her hands into her jeans' pockets and covered her
head with the yellow sweatshirt she's wearing. As Aiko went pass the
well, she looked at the young couple sadly. Until...there came an idea.
"Hey, guys! Race you back down!" Aiko shouted before sprinting her feet down the hill of stairs.
"You're on, Aiko!" Tadashi shouted back happily. The girl smiled as she hopped from one stair after another.
The
trios heads became more woozy when they continued to sprint farther.
Aiko could feel Tadashi's catching up to her, so, she fastened her pace
once more and.....she WON! Yes! Aiko won again! :D
Tadashi won in
second meanwhile her little sister became last. Because of Aiko's woozy
head, she broke down onto her knees, making her jeans dirty because of
the dirt. Tadashi laughed and Aiko joined too... After laughing, Dashi
offered a hand to Aiko who stood up wobbly as if she had lost her
balance.
"You okay?" Dashi asked Aiko worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." Aiko gave a smile to him and he returned it.
This
time, Aiko felt a little bit more happy than before when Tadashi became
all mushy to her sister. This time, she felt something that she yet
didn't understand.
